Tasks
Generating three dimensional harness designs as well as defining harness routing with CATIA V5 EHI considering the performance specifications;
- Designing and dimensioning fasteners and protective elements;
- Creating digital vehicle mock-ups, package models and drawings;
- Analyzing assembly space, package and tolerance design and the corresponding change provisions;
- Supporting and coordinating the development together with the development partners, suppliers and customers;
- Participating in meetings concerning packaging and production;
- Ensuring the DMU quality and the DMU maturity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent education;
- Several years of work experience in the field of Vehicle Electrical System Development;
- Very good working knowledge of the production of physical vehicle electrical systems and that of vehicle electrical equipment/electronics;
- Very good working knowledge of CATIA V5 3D/EHI;
- Good working knowledge of MS Office;
- English language is mandatory and German language is considered a plus;
- Strong communication and team-working skills as well as a high affinity for delivering first-quality engineering services to the customer;
- Willingness to travel.
